Youth of all ages are invited to join us for tons of fun on Saturday, April 30. Sign up for one of our sessions and spend an hour practicing your bike handling and safety skills. No need to bring a bike — you can borrow a bike and a sanitized helmet from us!

All Kids Bike

All Kids Bike is a national movement led by the Strider Education Foundation to place Kindergarten PE LearnTo-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. We want to make riding a bicycle the fourth "R" of elementary education, along with reading, writing, and arithmetic.

Pedal Kids Race Series

Pedal Kids Race Series was created by Buddy Pegs to motivate children 2-11 years to bike more often. The short laps and fun obstacles on the kid-friendly courses are designed to welcome all kids on all types of bikes.

Johnson County Schools Bike to School Day event information

Bicyclists from across the United States will join together to celebrate National Bike to School Day. Bike to School events work to create safer routes for bicycling and walking, and emphasize the importance of a range of issues such as increasing physical activity among children, cyclist and pedestrian safety, traffic congestion, concern for the environment and building connections between families, schools and the broader community.

The KCPA Plan is organized by societal sector and it is led by Sector Work Groups. The vision of the KCPA Plan is to build a culture of physically active lifestyles throughout Kansas City for residents of all ages and abilities.
